Since her election as Roosevelt Island’s state senator, Krueger has been active working on reforming RIOC’s board and operations. She’s prodded board chair RuthAnne Visnauskas to engage with residents, and she facilitated the appointment of reform-minded board members.

For the Thursday meeting, she will focus on getting Democrats elected in November. But her support of the Equal Rights Amendment on this year’s ballot will take center stage.
