UPDATE: Day Five: NYC Ferry Landing at Roosevelt Island Still Closed

UPDATE: February 12th, 8:30 a.m. Ferry Service resumed for Roosevelt Island.

NYC Ferries are again bypassing Roosevelt Island for a fifth day.

A four day closing in January blamed the same “mechanical” problems. Seemingly identical problems are now indicated for a five day shutdown. But a visit to the landing, yesterday afternoon, found the location idle with no repairs going on.
