RIOC Offices, Parking Reopen After the Storm That Wasn’t

Effective this morning, February 19th, RIOC, after being grounded by a 3 inch snowfall, lifts parking restrictions and reopens its offices. Officially, parking returns to normal as of 9:00 a.m.

Update: Is there an echo in here or is there really another winter storm watch?

It looked like the real thing, but maybe they got it wrong. The National Weather Service downgraded its winter storm watch for today to a simple advisory. Snowfall prediction fell to 3 to 5 inches, and even that’s looking iffy.
