The Summer Movie Series at Southpoint Park continues this Thursday, July 18, with Marvel’s wildest crew of space misfits in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Get ready for laughs, tears, epic tunes and a whole lot of heart, as we gather once again under the stars.

This Week’s Movie Night:

  • Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (Rated PG-13)
  • Date: Thursday, July 18
  • Time: Activities kick off at 7:00 PM; movie begins at sunset
  • Where: Southpoint Park
  • Admission: Free!

About twenty years ago, there was Harbor Police activity near the water, just south of the subway entrance. At the time, no one really thought of it as a pier, though technically there was a small boardwalk there. Of course it wasn’t a pier. A pier implies intention.
