Friends and neighbors, there’s a new address in town for one of our most essential community anchors.

RIOC Settles into a New Home

As of Monday, July 14th, the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) has officially opened its doors at a brand-new location: 426 Main Street, right beside Firefighters Field. If you’ve passed by recently, you might have seen a few moving boxes and activity and that’s because the team is still settling in.

Though the unpacking is ongoing, the office is open to the public and ready to serve. You’re welcome to stop by, say hello, and check out the new space. Just don’t be surprised if the paint is still drying and a few things are out of place!

What to Know:

  • New Address: 426 Main Street, next to Firefighters Field
  • Open to the Public: Starting July 14, 2025
  • Note: Temporary disarray as the team gets situated

The move marks a fresh chapter for RIOC as they continue their mission to support and manage life on Roosevelt Island with care and efficiency. Having a more centrally located, accessible office space will hopefully make connecting with the RIOC team easier for all of us.

A Warm Welcome

RIOC shared, “We look forward to welcoming you to our new space!” And we look forward to visiting.

Let’s extend a warm welcome, and perhaps a cup of coffee, to our community partners as they get comfortable in their new home. See you at 426 Main!
