When the Roosevelt Island-based James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation holds its 24th annual celebration and awards ceremony, Complete Playground will host the event. Geared toward family inclusiveness, the group will keynote the accent of global humanitarianism as fostered by Jim Luce.

Complete Playground Board Member Amy Beth Capizzi passionately champions the need for a vibrant community space where children of all abilities can come together to play, learn new skills, and grow. Currently, Manhattan lacks such an inclusive play space.
Founder Alex Reznik: My Personal Story
My journey, one that led to the creation of Complete Playground, began with the deep love I have for my children. I was faced with the daunting challenge of finding places in New York City that could cater to the unique needs of all three of my beloved kids. However, the turning point came when one of my sons was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
With a heartfelt commitment to securing a better future for my children and our beloved city, I embarked on a journey of exploration. I sought inspiration from innovatively designed indoor playgrounds in Europe and diligently researched local centers right here in New York City.
However, it was with great disappointment that I discovered the absence of inclusive and supportive spaces in our city, leaving me deeply concerned about our needs.
Fueled by love and dedication, this journey culminated in the creation of Complete Playground.
It’s not just a dream; it’s the answer to my quest for a space where all children, regardless of their abilities, can come together to play, learn new skills, and grow.
Complete Playground is a testament to my love for my children and my vision for a more inclusive and compassionate city.
