New York State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright announced, early today, a Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for Roosevelt Island, next week. The clinic, hosted by the CBN/RI Senior Center, includes in-home appointments.

The event takes place on Thursday, January 13th, from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Carter Burden Network managed Roosevelt Island Senior Center, 546 Main Street. The Red Bus is one of Roosevelt Island’s most popular public services, and for good reason. For residents near the subway and Tram, it may be a convenience. For residents at Manhattan Park, the Octagon, Coler and the northern WIRE buildings, it can be the connection that makes the rest of the Island accessible.
This is great news and again thank you to AM Seawright for filling Covid support gaps where RIOC continue to fail completely.
Recognition should also be extended to our local Duane Reade / Walgreens who continue to provide Moderna 1st, 2nd and booster shots (including Moderna as a mixed booster) every day of the week.
Rebecca is one of the most publically oriented electeds, and here, she’s done solid work again. Got all three of my shots at Duane Reade and each were handled with professionalism as the highest.
