Roosevelt Island promenades reflect the traditional intent: They are there for walking, but times change. Other users, especially bikes, share the space. This raises a lot of issues, from safety to comfort, and we’re offering a poll, asking your opinion.

In the end, although the top response was “A ban is not needed,” a majority voted in favor of increasing control (38.7%) or a total ban (14.86%).
But RIOC rung up 100% in indifference, not responding at all and changing nothing. After all, it’s all about them, isn’t it?
