Roosevelt Island COVID-19 reported statistics as of the week ending January 31st, 2021, show our community still staying much safer than the rest of the city.
According to reports, collected by The Gothamist, from the New York City Department of Health, Roosevelt Island has a positivity rate of 2.59%. The overall city rate was 8.31% for the period, and Manhattan had 4.16% positivity.
With 464 residents tested for that week, Roosevelt Island shows little increase in testing or results after the RIOC sponsored Swift Rapid COVID-19 Testing site opened in mid-January.
