A Life in Art Photography

In Twilight, Reykjavik, Iceland, by street photographer Deborah Julian, the light makes it different. It angles differently and cleanly near the top of the world…

Twilight Reykjavik Iceland catches the suspended light from a long, subarctic sunset as it fills a zebra crossing.

Zebra Crossing in Reykjavik, Iceland

For your home or office, a print takes you to the uniquely lit streets of Reykjavik, Iceland. The loneliness of this wonderfully remote city is balanced by its graces. Your friend will love it, as a gift, too.

About Twilight Reykjavik Iceland

Reykjavik Iceland Twilight is fine art street photography, a print designed for wall decor.

A beautiful light pierces the clear North Atlantic air.

Even in summer, overcoats are needed.

I shot this picture in August in downtown Reykjavik. The image pops with the stream of light, direct colors and geometry.

My most popular photographs look like paintings, and you can see that here.

I sell Reykjavik Iceland Summer as an 8 1/2 X 11 inch giclee fine art print. I use Archival Epson Papers and ship everything USPS. After printing, I sign each on the white border beneath the image or on the reverse.

Rivercross and the Quiet Green Light

The Votes, the Conflicts, and the Sudden Exit of Margie Smith and Fay Christian

Rivercross privatization was enabled in 2010. This matters now because the same governance structures that allowed Rivercross to privatize without formal conflict controls are still in place. The same public authority oversees land leases, settlements, and redevelopment decisions that affect every resident on Roosevelt Island today.
