As some of you know, we shut down The Roosevelt Island Daily at the end of January. We are leaving Roosevelt Island on April 1st, finally retiring in a new city we can afford. We’ve loved our time here, but all good things must end some day. And we are ready for our next adventure. That means leaving the apartment we’ve occupied for three years. It’s the best location on Roosevelt Island. Grab the sublet now while it’s still open.
405 Main Street, 3L, Best Location, Available for April/May

When we leave on April 1st, a month an a half will remain on our lease. That ends on May 20th. If you sublet this space, you’ll have a chance to renew with Related, our landlord and developer of Southtown.
Details:
- One bedroom, one bath, 608 square feet, north view along the East River, Manhattan skyline.

- Year round heating and air-conditioning. Save with direct ConEd contract, avoid the excessive costs of submetering you’re stuck with in other Roosevelt Island buildings.
- Full size refrigerator.
- Gym in the building, well-equipped.
- Pet friendly
- Free WiFi in all public areas.
- Rooftop lounge, indoors or outside, nicely landscaped. Barbecue grills, tables, chairs, loungers. Views from the tip of Manhattan north to The Bronx. Brooklyn and Queens along the way.
- 24-hour Concierge.

- Best transportation location on Roosevelt Island. Tram out the back door. Minutes from NYC Ferry and the F Train.
- Tennis and Sportspark next door.
Some furniture available, if want it: Macy’s sofa bed, Queen size bed and mattress, dressers, dining room table. We aren’t taking any furniture with us, so you can have it as part of our agreement or we will dispose of it.
Current rent is under $4K. If you wish to extend after our lease expires, you can work with the onsite leasing office.

Finally
We’ve loved living at 405 Main. Friendly staff makes it a perfect fit. We hope you will love it as much as we have.
Interested? Call me (Dave) at 1-646-419-0473. We expect this to go fast and will take the first good offer.
Thank you.
The Committee Man
Committees are supposed to be where outcomes are shaped. They are meant to be the place where questions slow decisions down, where competing interests surface, and where public responsibility is exercised before anything reaches a formal vote.

Sorry to see you go. Enjoy your new home.
