Neighbors, it’s almost that magical time of year again when the leaves start to turn and our community gathers on the Meditation Lawn for one of Roosevelt Island’s most beloved traditions: the Fall for Arts Festival.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the festival, and it promises to be as vibrant and inspiring as ever. With themes of “Freedom of Fear” and “Freedom to Imagine”, artists, families, and friends are invited to celebrate creativity in every form.

Why It Matters
The Fall for Arts Festival is more than just a day of fun. It’s a celebration of imagination, resilience, and connection. The themes, freedom from fear and the courage to imagine, speak to the creative spirit that binds our island community together.
As neighbors, we are lucky to enjoy a festival that welcomes everyone, from long-time residents to first-time visitors, to share in the joy of making and experiencing art.
