After 25 years of often pioneering service to Roosevelt Islanders, Dr. Jack Resnick retired last month. Now, everyone is invited to a retirement celebration next week in his former offices at 520 Main Street.

As we reported in September, Resnick was far more than a family doctor for Roosevelt Islanders.
He worked with the Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance during its most formative days, and he launched and for years wrote, edited and published The Main Street WIRE. The WIRE kept the community in the loop for free, delivered to every door for 20 years.
His contributions to the Roosevelt Island stand second to none.
So, join your neighbors at a retirement celebration for the “Roosevelt Doctor” on Friday, October 27th, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in his former offices at 520 Main Street, Roosevelt Island.
